‘The most valuable resources that all teachers have is each other. Without collaboration our growth is limited to own perspectives’ Robert John Meehan
Due to school closures and the lockdown measures preventing meetings we have moved to online training for the foreseeable future. Our new programme for June/July is available via the links above. We are still waiting for dates from a number of trainers and will add further courses as they are arranged.
*Staff are working remotely from home so communication is via email at the moment.
Most courses are free to BEST Trust members, unless stated otherwise. Members receive four H&S sessions for free as part of their membership.
Non-Trust members should contact email@example.com to enquire about fees or check the training guide. Most online courses are £20 per session during lockdown.
The fundamental principle of the Trust is a group of schools working together to enhance staff professional learning in ways which add value over and above the impact of schools working separately. This involves managing the resources for professional learning, people and money, in ways which increase the capacity of individual schools.
Comments from evaluations at the end of the first year
about the success of the BEST Trust include:
• Clear agendas based on current issues.
• Opportunities for working together and sharing practice.
• Much closer links between schools.
• The ability to influence the development of the Collaborative.
• The quality of the bespoke training.
We are pleased to announce our new database and booking system is now live. You will be able to book all training online, see available places for courses, book colleagues from the same school onto courses and manage your CPD records. BEST Trust will also be able to send out school training records once again. …
