**Participants will receive a unique unit pack in addition to extensive IT resources that meet the expectations of the new national curriculum in a dynamic and stimulating manner, providing a fabulous wealth of ideas and resources to inspire and promote creative writing and reading.**

Course Information:
Famous people Great Events – ‘The Great Fire Of London’ by Gillian Clements is part of a series of picture books that tell the stories of famous people and great events in History. How did the fire come about? What were the consequences? What was the story?
Packed with facts and colourful illustrations, opportunities for reading and writing will be explored as well as a series of ideas to allow children to engage in pre-text work on the events of the Great Fire Of London and provide a context for the story.
An exciting and extensive unit of work, including a wealth of differentiated resources, media and ICT, to develop reading and writing for teachers in KS1 and 2.
